Summer course 2023

The next summer course will be held at Orivesi campus 24.-30.7.2023.

Course fee

The course fee includes tuition, meals and accommodation. The meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Afternoon coffees can be purchased separately. The campus premises are provided with kitchens that allow storing food and preparing evening snacks. Grocery stores can be found  nearby.

The fee depends on the accommodation option. Alternatively, you can take only the tuition and the meals.

Fees

• 827,00 € / person (double room, private WC and shared shower)
• 857,00 € / person (single room,  shared shower and WC)
• 897,00 € / person (double room, private WC and shower)
• 977,00 € / person (single room, private WC and shower)
• 715,00 € / person, only tuition and meals, no accommodation

Student fees

• 695,00 € / person (double room, private WC and shared shower)
• 635,00 € / person, only tuition and meals, no accommodation

The student fees are for full-time students (holder of a student ID) aged under 30.

If you want to have higher-class accommodation, there are  rooms available in hotel Sointula at the campus area.  In this case, contact directly Orivesi campus for prizes and reservations.

Registration

The registration for the 2023 Early Music Summer School will begin on the 1st of April 2023 and will end on the 31st of May 2023.

Payment

The course fee will be invoiced by Orivesi campus.

Cancellation policy

If the cancellation happens after payment and two weeks before the course, 50,00 € for office expenses will be charged. Later, the whole course fee will be charged. With a medical certificate, the whole fee minus 50,00 € for office expenses is returned.

Members of CMAH are prioritized when choosing participants to the course

We have changed the choosing process to the course. The members of Helsinki Early Music Society (CMAH) have a priority in participating the summer course if there are more registrations for any instrument class than we can take. The other criterion for choosing participants is the order of registration (first-in-first-served). The membership is checked after the registration period and persons whose membership fee for 2023 has been received by the society.
